TRUST THE TRAINING
I am a week away from running my second half-marathon. In my first race, I faced the fear of the unknown. Today, I face the fear of "the known." I know the pain that awaits, the mind games of the upcoming week, the internal pressure to make my race time goal. I know that the hard work of preparation is done now. The groundwork has been put in and now all that awaits is the big race itself. Now is the time to trust the training and get ready to feel the exhilaration of "finishing the race" one more time.

It's awesome to think this is your 2nd half marathon!! I've enjoyed watching you from afar do the training and listening to you think your way through the runs.
Perseverance my friend. Perseverance.

I didn't know you are planning another race?! Great Nolan. I wish I could be that determined and willing to train as hard as you have been. Your dedication is very admired.
