ODDLY ABSURD
My heroes in life are the men and women who have chosen to follow God with full abandon, even when they are called to do the "oddly absurd."
Scripture chronicles this crazy heritage throughout its pages: like building an ark in the middle of the desert because God says rain is coming in 120 years, preaching naked through the streets of Jerusalem, and intentionally starting your family with a prostitute at His command.
Our Lord rarely chooses to work through the script that calls for normal.
Does God have an oddly absurd calling for you to pursue?
