Today is my 40th birthday. It's been a little bittersweet to be honest. In some ways, I am reminded of how great my life has been: I have an incredible wife, an amazing kid, and wonderful family and friends. Those blessings can never be replaced. On the other side of the coin, I am frustrated that my "career" has not worked out the way I had dreamed. Making an impact for God's glory rarely occurs on our timetable. Today I choose to be joyful with my life and trust that perhaps He'll use me another 40+ years to glorify Him!
