UNEXPECTED BLESSINGS
I didn't accomplish anything I had planned to do today.
I was awakened by a phone call at 5:40 that let me know that school was cancelled, so Maddie and Alison would both be home all day.
I planned to read, write, reflect, and do some busy work; instead, I cuddled on the couch with my wife and daughter, had a great lunch with them and my in-laws, and then built a snow man, threw snowballs, and ate snow cream.
The work will still be here tomorrow, but I am glad that I took advantage of an unexpected blessing today!
